Every fall, Early Middle College at GTCC Greensboro hosts the Sleep Out event to raise awareness about homelessness in our community. Students deepen their understanding of this issue by collecting essential items for those in need, researching the challenges faced by homeless individuals, and experiencing firsthand the difficulties of life without stable shelter by building temporary shelters and spending a night outdoors on campus.
