PBIS = Positive Behavior Interventions & Support

 This year at Murphey we are continuing a program called PBIS to help support our students by teaching them appropriate behaviors for the common areas of the school. This program is part of the process of creating safer and more effective schools.

 School-Wide Expectations

 At Murphey Traditional Academy we:

Make RESPONSIBLE choices.

Treat others with RESPECT.

Always show SELF-CONTROL.

Our students set the tone for the day by reciting the Murphey Pledge and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Murphey Pledge:
I will act in such a way, that I will be proud of myself, 
and others will be proud of me, too. I came to school to learn, and I will learn.
