Morning Open Circulation 7:20 am - 7:45 am

I am SuAnn Klawitter and I am always excited to work with students, teachers, and parents.  To do so effectively and efficiently, please take note of the following:

Parent Accounts: Parents are encouraged to establish a media center account at the library circulation desk (one account/household). Parents may borrow up to two items at a time. In addition, there is a large selection of e-books available online both in English and in Spanish, for your children to enjoy at home. (See e-book menu link.) Please consider supplementing the books you and your child(ren) borrow with books from the public library!

Student Accounts: Kindergarten and 1st grade students may borrow one book at a time.  After the first semester, 1st grade students will be able to borrow two books at a time. 2nd through 5th grade students may borrow two books at a time.  4th and 5th grade students participating in Battle of the Books may borrow a third book, but one must be on the Battle of the Books list. Although books are checked out for a period of one week, students may exchange their books during the daily Open Circulation from 7:20 - 7:45 am.

Overdue, Lost and Damaged Items: Books are checked out for seven days. Students will be given an overdue notices to take home at the beginning of each month. Payment for lost or damaged books will clear student accounts. Refunds will be issued if books are found before the end of the school year.

We understand that paying for the cost of replacement books may present undue financial strain on some families.  Therefore, payment for a lost or damaged book is $5.00.
