This is my eigth year teaching at Northern. I attended Elon University as an undergraduate and Berry College (Ga.) and UNCG for graduate work. I have very high expectations for my students. It is my desire for my students to learn something new every day. I want us all to realize the many wonders of science and understand how it fits into their lives. I expect my students to play an active role in their learning by completing timely work, preparing for quizzes and tests, and seeking help when it is needed.

I am also the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Northern. I hope to see you at our games, but if soccer isn't for you, I hope you be come involved in one of Northern’s many activities, clubs, or sports.
