• Welcome to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing department at Johnson Street Global Studies. Our department has two teachers of the Deaf/HH,  Linda Kelly and Alyssa Jackson.  Alyssa Jackson is currently on maternity leave as she had a little girl on September 3, 2021.   We currently have students who are in grades 1st-4th grade.  We have three educational interpreters who provide interpreting services for our students.  Our focus is building language and vocabulary so that our students can have access to curriculum and socialization with their peers.  Please feel free to reach out to Linda Kelly or Alyssa Jackson with your questions or concerns, (336) 819-2900.
