Lari Ramos

Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Lari Ramos and I have been a proud Kindergarten teacher at Florence for 12 years.  I was born in Wisconsin, but have been living in North Carolina long enough to consider myself a native.  I absolutely love living here and would never dream of moving back north.   

I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and my Master's degree from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro.  I have only taught in North Carolina and I have been doing that for 20 years.  My main area of interest has always been in Early Childhood.  I love experiencing when a child develops new skills and they are excited to practice their new skill.  Kindergarten is especially exciting because that is when they learn to read.  

I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters that have both been through Florence.  The older one is in 9th grade at Southwest High School and the younger one is in 5th grade.  We love going to the beach, staying up late and watching movies and watching big sister play softball.
