Verdair Terry

 My name is Verdair Terry and I will be your child`s second grade teacher.  I was born and raised in High Point, NC.  For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher.  I attended the University of NC at Greensboro on a Teaching Fellows Scholarship.  In 1998, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  I received my Advanced Learners licensure from High Point University.  I have taught for over 20 years.  I have had the privilege of teaching both fourth grade and second grade at Florence Elementary.  

I have been married for 10 years.  My husband and I have a fun, sweet, and energetic daughter.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I also enjoy listening to music, dancing, and reading. 

It is my goal to help each student reach his/her fullest potential.  I look forward to making this a memorable year for your child.
