BIENVENIDOS

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to an exciting year in 3^rd grade. My name is Señora Gómez.

I grew up in Colombia, South America. I came to the United States as an exchange student for two years and during that time I met my husband which made me decide to live in North Carolina. I have been in Jones since February 2013 first as a volunteer, then as a student-teacher and finally as a 4^th grade teacher for 3 years. This year will be my third year as a 3^rd grade teacher, this has made me really happy and willing to continue doing the best for my students.

We will continue working hard so we can bring the best out of us and start getting ready for 4^th grade. We will use our time working on projects in reading, math, science and social studies. Come ready to use all your creativity, work with your class as a team and continue roaring by showing an example for everybody else in our school.
