Welcome to Coach Simmons PE page.
My goal as a teacher is to show students that they can become fit and well by making healthy decisions. I hope to instill an enjoyment for physical activity in hopes that each student will continue being active throughout their lifetime.
In the month of October, we will be working on a variety of fitness activities. Our 3rd – 5th grade students will be taking their fall fitness pre-test which consists of assessments in strength, flexibility, body composition and endurance. All grade levels will be learning functional fitness exercises that can be done at home using human body weight rather than physical exercising equipment.
