Welcome to my website! 

I grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees.  Even though my husband and I have lived here in Greensboro for over twenty years, our blood still runs orange! Go Vols!!! We are the proud parents of a Mini Schnoodle named Oliver, who is the sweetest dog ever!

I began teaching English in 1997 at Farragut High School in Knoxville, TN.  Upon moving to Greensboro, I taught at Grimsley High School for two years.  I joined the Northwest faculty during the 2003-2004 school year.  I love NWHS and am proud to be a Viking!
