Welcome to Mr. Lambert's Webpage

  • August 2023

Welcome, drafting students, both returning and new. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is David Lambert. I am returning to Northwest, and starting my 25th year as a teacher. Prior to making this my career, I worked for 22 years in the drafting and engineering industry. I have had a varied world of work background as to what I have designed and helped to manufacture, everything from a small sensor to stick into sewer pipes to measure the flow, to portable "MASH-type" hospitals for the military. And I had a blast along the way. It is a great feeling to take an idea from your head, design it, put it on "paper," and then watch someone build it. My job as a teacher will be to spark that interest in my students and have them pursue this as a career. So hang on! It's going to be an exciting year!
