Welcome Vikings and Viking Families!

Hailing from one of the friendliest cities in America, Jennifer Loveday-Donovan is a true Charlestonian with her family history dating back to 1750.  Jennifer received her Undergraduate degree in Political Science from The College of Charleston. She received dual Masters Degrees, Master of Art in Education-Political Science and Criminal Justice and Master of Art in Education-Social Science from The Citadel.  She received her Eds from Walden University as well as her Administrative Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.   

Jennifer believes that education has always been the cornerstone of equal opportunity and is committed to ensuring a quality education to all Americans. She is in her 8^th year at Northwest Guilford and her 16th year in education.  She is teaching Honors and College Prep Civics as well as American History this term.  Jennifer is also the Northwest Varsity Cheerleading coach.  As the Vikings head competition cheer coach she has taken the team to back to back to back to back state championships and was named the 2019 North Carolina Spirit Coach of the year. 

In her free time Jennifer and her husband, Jason, enjoy traveling, attending sporting events, fishing, working out and spending time with their three French Bulldogs Bexlie, Otis and Margaux.
