I am so excited to be teaching Spanish I and Honors Spanish III this year! I am looking forward to meeting each of you!

Welcome to Señora Negrete's (formerly Saavedra) webpage! I look forward to working with you this school year! I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I grew up speaking both English and Spanish. I've always had a love for languages and cultures from all around the world. I graduated from UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor's in English and Spanish Education. I also had the privilege of studying Spanish Philology at the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. I am very passionate about languages and I'm thrilled to begin my seventh year teaching at Northwest! In my downtime, I love photography, traveling and spending time with my husband and our Terrier mix, Khloe.
