Welcome to Mrs. Simons' 3rd grade class!

In third grade, we are busy learning every day. Sternberger follows the Eureka curriculum for Math. We use the ARC framework to teach Reading which also includes Social Studies and Science concepts. Science is taught throughout the year. Students learn Physical Science topics such as motion, matter, and energy transfer. The Earth, Moon, & Sun system and land and water features are our Earth Science concepts. Lastly, students have the opportunity to explore the following Life Science topics: plants and human body systems.
