Welcome! I am Jodi Perlmutter.

I have taught kindergarten for 20 years, and first grade for 4 years.

My degree is in Early Childhood education. I love teaching kindergarten, and seeing how much growth the children make from the beginning of the year, to the end of the year.

I am originally from New York, and have lived in Greensboro N.C. for 28 years. My husband of 33 years is also a teacher, but he teaches math in high school.

We have two children, a son who is 28, and a daughter who is 24. I love spending time with my family, when I am not working. We enjoy going to and watching Carolina Hurricanes hockey games, and New York Yankees baseball games. 

My philosophy has always been to provide my students with the same love, care, respect and attention that I always wanted my own children to receive in their classroom.  It is my main goal to provide your child with an enriching, nurturing, fun and success-oriented school experience.  I look forward to working with you cooperatively to achieve this goal!!
