Mr. Simpson is a Greensboro native who holds a Bachelor's of Arts in History with licensure in Secondary Education in Social Studies from High Point University.

After graduating, Mr. Simpson had the opportunity to give back to his former high school, Ragsdale, and taught World History and Civics & Economics for his first year. Afterwards, he transitioned to Northern Guilford High School to continue teaching. This will be his fifteenth year at Northern Guilford High School, his sixteenth year teaching overall.
