My name is Jeff Sims, and this is my 16th year at Northern Guilford. I currently teach AP Calculus AP Precalculus. In the past I have also taught Algebra 2, Geometry, Math 3, and Math 4. I graduated from UNCG in the spring of 2009 under the NC Teaching Fellows program with a degree in mathematics and a concentration in secondary education.  I'm also the sponsor of NGHS National Beta Club.

BETA CLUB INFORMATION:

New juniors: The last day to pay the membership fee is October 26th

If you decide to join, then pay the membership fee and join the Remind class (Remind code is down below)

Beta Club's purpose is "to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students."

You will be required to complete at least 8 hours of community service each semester.

I will accept up to 4 hours of service from over the past summer.

Do NOT pay the fee unless you are eligible and received the invitation.  (GPA of 4.0)

Seniors that already joined last year: You do NOT have to pay the membership fee again.
