Hi there!  I am starting my 10th year as a chemistry teacher at NGHS and my 15th year with Guilford County Schools. I previously taught at Grimsley and prior to that I worked in the chemical industry (14 yrs.).  I have taught all levels of chemistry: Chemistry I, Honors Chemistry, AP Chemistry and IB Chemistry. I am also a coach for our outstanding Science Olympiad team - 10 yrs! The best part of my job is working with our terrific students.

I am originally from western Kentucky and the oldest of four girls.  I have degrees in chemistry and math from Murray State University and the University of Mississippi.  I have three grown children and three dogs. I currently live in Summerfield with my family.
