This year will mark my ninth year teaching. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education with a concentration in Political Science. I have been at Northern Guilford High School since my student teaching in the fall of 2009. I was also Northern's Rookie Teacher of the Year for the 2010-2011 school year. This year I will be teaching Honors Civics and Economics and AP Human Geography. In addition I will also be serving as the Social Studies representative on the School Improvement Team. I am looking forward to my ninth year of teaching here at Northern Guilford. Go Nighthawks!
