Welcome to Fourth Grade! 

My name is Emily Mungo and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to the fourth grade. I am looking forward to an exciting new year!

This is my eleventh year teaching 4th grade here at Southwest. I grew up in Jamestown, North Carolina and attended Southwest for Middle School and High School. Go Cowboys! I attended college at East Carolina University where I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Child Studies. Go Pirates! My husband and I have two sons, Bray and Beau. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, family, my cat (Ashe) and dog (Skye). I love the Cowboy community and am so thrilled to be your child's teacher!

7:45-8:30 - I/E

8:35-9:20 -Specials

9:20-9:45 -Morpheme Magic

9:45-11:25 - CKLA Listen & Learn and Writing

11:30-12:00- Recess

12:05 - 12:30 - Lunch

12:35-1:45 - Math Launch, Learn and Land

1:45-2:00 - Afternoon Meeting/SEL
