Welcome to 8th Grade Social Studies!

My name is Mr. Brown and I teach US/NC History at SEMS.  I grew up in the Southeast Guilford area and still live in the area today.  I graduated from UNC Greensboro with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in History.  This is my 15th year teaching at Southeast and I have really enjoyed my time here.  I help coach the football team and pitch in where needed with the other Falcon sports.  I am married to Allison, who teaches Science and also works here at Southeast.  We have an eight year old named Griffin who makes us laugh on a daily basis.  Our interests include watching sports, being active outdoors, and hanging out with friends and family.
