Welcome to Ms. Young's Class Homepage!

My name is Emilie Young. I teach visual art at Doris Henderson Newcomers School. I teach elementary, middle, and high school art and have been working at Newcomers School for four school years.

I earned my Bachelor's of Art degree for Art and Art Education at Appalachian State University in 2014 and have been teaching at Newcomers School ever since! I love our Newcomers community and I am grateful for the opportunity to welcome students to our school and to share the fun of art-making with all!
