If you need to contact me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Below is a little bit about me:
I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1972 but moved to Greensboro in 1976, attending Sedgefield Elementary, Peeler Elementary, Frazier Elementary, Allen Junior High, and James B. Dudley Senior High School. While in high school, I was very active in the Greensboro Youth Council (GYC), serving as the GYC Chairman my senior year. I graduated from Dudley in 1990 and received the N.C. Teaching Fellows Program scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
From 1996 to 2008, I taught eighth-grade language arts at Southwest Guilford Middle School. I have taught at High Point Central High School since 2008.
Through People to People's Student Ambassador Program, I have traveled with students to Australia (4 times), New Zealand (2), England, France, Spain, Italy, California (San Francisco and Yosemite), and Japan. I love organizing dinner-and-a-play get-togethers, and my favorite theatres are the Open Space Cafe Theatre, Triad Stage, and Theatre Alliance. Favorite plays and musicals include "Fences," "Blood Brothers," "Carmen," "Hair," and "Beautiful Star." Favorite authors include Pat Conroy, Toni Morrison, and John Irving. I am also a big fan of Prince and Purple Rain; in 2016, Prince died on my birthday.
