Patrick Lui's Bio

An artist with a reputation for embodying both poeticism and precision in his playing, the Hong Kong born guitarist Patrick Lui has established himself as both a notable performer and a gifted teacher. His students include a Grammy Award Winner, two GFA Young Artist Guitar Competition prize winners, featured artist on the Radio and PBS television show From the Top and well over 200 prize winners in guitar competitions national and internationally. Aside from his performances, Patrick is in constant demand as a lecturer, often conducting clinics and master classes throughout United States. Patrick is the Director of Guitar Studies at Weaver Academy for Performing and Visual Arts in Greensboro, NC.  He  is also one half of the Lui and Rogers Guitar Duo.
