I am honored to be the proud principal of Southern Guilford High School. I am most excited about partnering with students, parents, teachers, and our school community to complete the team of support for our students. It is my goal to provide the best education possible for all of our students by providing resources, being supportive, collaborating with our stakeholders, and building on the excellence that our school has already established. I want to help provide a rigorous curriculum with high expectations of students while building a community where all stakeholders feel valued and respected. Thank you for partnering with me on this mission.

My wife and I have three kids who keep us very busy. We value family time and have a lot of fun swimming, playing sports/dance, and going to the beach in the summer. There is always something to laugh about in our home. We work hard and play hard. I am a big fan of the Florida Gators and Atlanta Braves. Although I was born in Florida, I have lived in North Carolina for 23 years.
My Grounding Principles
Teachers, students, parents, and principals should have high expectations of themselves and others because high expectations will produce desired results. We must be a student-centered community.
As you know, we have outstanding teachers here at Southern High School. Please contact them first if you have any concerns or questions about the classroom. It is my mission to be accessible and visible to teachers, parents, and students. I think that effective communication is important. All phone calls and emails will be either be returned on the same day or within 24 hours. Please email or call me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas. You can reach me by email at email@example.com or by phone at (336) 674-4250. Thank you for being an important part of our school community!
