Dr. Johncarlos Miller, Principal

Hi, everyone!  I am proud to serve as your Weaver Academy principal.  A special kind of enthusiasm and satisfaction comes from leading a school like Weaver.  Our faculty and staff are committed to student success and work to help our students identify doors of opportunity and access to their wildest dreams.  Whether one’s responsibility is supervising, teaching, maintaining the building, or managing the office, we have an obligation to our students to provide them with consistently high quality instruction.  This type of education can only thrive when we, the adults, are in accord with each other and determine within ourselves that we will educate all students at all costs.  I thank you in advance for helping us help our students and solicit your continued support for our school as we endeavor to be the best in Guilford County, North Carolina, and the United States.   

I attended North Carolina A&T State University and earned my BS in Chemistry with a minor in Secondary Education.  I also attended UNCG where I earned the MSA, Ed.S. and Ed.D. degrees.  I taught chemistry and physical science at Dudley High School and began my administrative career there as well.  I have served as an administrator at the middle and high school levels, and I am elated to have the opportunity to affect the change I would like to see in the world by being an educator.
