I am so excited to teach at Southwest for my sixth year, which is technically my 10th year at The Ranch because my days as a high schooler were spent at Southwest! It was like coming home when I was offered the job here :) 

I enjoy teaching and planning prom each year. I love seeing our students grow from anxious ninth graders to young adults who are ready to take on the world. I may be biased, but I think our students are the very best. 

I graduated from High Point University in 2012 with an English degree and a minor in theatre and earned my Master's degree in reading education from Appalachian State University in 2013.

In my "free time," I volunteer as a youth leader at my church, advise my sorority at HPU, am a part of the Junior League of High Point, and work hard to keep my lab/husky mix happy and living her best life.
