I came to Greensboro in 1998 to attend Greensboro College as a music education major.  While in college I had the opportunity to start the band program at Bethany Community Middle School, a charter school in Rockingham County, NC.  I have taught in Guilford County for fifteen years.  I was at Northeast Middle School for 10 years and am currently the band and orchestra director at Jamestown Middle School.  I have had a private studio for about ten years in the Jamestown area and now teach privately at Music and Arts in Burlington.  I perform weekly with the praise and worship band, Decided, at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, where I play guitar, bass, trumpet and sing.   I have worked with The Ragsdale High School Marching Tigers for about fifteen years as music tech, brass tech, drill/show designer, and composer/arranger.  My wife, Elena, and I have three daughters, one each in elementary, middle, and high school.
