Welcome to the Physical Sciences!
Physical science is a branch of natural science that studies non-living systems, in contrast to life sciences. Physics and chemistry are both branches of the physical sciences.
Physics is the study of matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. More broadly, it is the general analysis of nature, conducted in order to understand how the universe behaves.
Chemistry studies the composition, structure, properties and change of matter.
Together both branches help students understand how the universe is observed both macroscopically and microscopically.
