Welcome to Digital Design and Animation I, II.
You will need the following for these classes:
A USB drive (4 gigs or more)
A 3-ring binder with 5 tab dividers.
Digital Design and Animation I Provides students with the principles, elements and techniques of digital design. Composition, color theory, plotting coordinates and image production methods are presented. Students work with various 2D and 3D imaging software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk 3D StudioMax and others. Production planning and editing are covered.
Digital Design and Animation II continues from DDA I with instruction on the techniques used in computer generated effects, animated film and computer games. Techniques, tools and workflow used by industry professionals are practiced. In-depth study of Autodesk 3D Studio Max with some targeted work in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro is available.
Work in these classes is project-based and self-directed. Students are required to develop long-term time management skills and self-discipline.
