  • Welcome to Pearce!

E.P. Pearce is a comprehensive traditional elementary school with a current enrolment of approximately 740 students.  Pearce is named after Dr. Pearce, who was Guilford County Schools Superintendent from 1959 to 1978.   Pearce opened its doors to students in August of 2007.  We have a strong history of academic achievement and are consistently one of the top performing schools in the district.  Our performance data can be reviewed on the School Report Card link on the homepage.  In addition to our rigorous academic expectations, 100 percent of our students participate in service learning opportunities including participating in our yearly United Way Campaign, Jump Rope for Heart, Out of the Garden food collection and Toys for Tots, among others.

Our PTA is amazing!  Each year they help support our school through family events and activities, as well as help provide needed materials and technology for our classrooms.

Mission Statement-  Our mission is to utilize the strengths of staff, families and community to challenge each student to surpass on year’s growth while maximizing his/her academic, social and physical potential.

Vision Statement- In providing a safe and diverse learning atmosphere, we at E.P. Pearce Elementary School strive to stimulate the “whole child” in a journey of learning.
