Welcome to Mrs. Mabe's First Grade Class! I am excited and proud to be a part of Pearce's first grade team. Our goal is to encourage your child to do their personal best each day and foster a love of learning. We are going to form lasting relationships, learn, and grow together. Starting in October, we will have a Mystery Reader each Friday afternoon. A Mystery Reader is a parent or grandparent that signs up to read to our class without telling their child they are coming. It is a surprise to the class each Friday and they try to guess who is coming based on clues read to them. More information will be sent home about becoming a Mystery Reader this year.
