• Welcome back to another school year!  My name is Ms. Adriane Smith. I am looking forward to a year of learning, achieving, and growing.  This year I will be teaching ALL subject areas.

    This is the start of my 21st year of teaching.  I have previously taught 4th grade at Monticello-Brown Summit Elementary in Guilford County, Varennes Elementary in Anderson, South Carolina, and Lincoln Heights Elementary in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am originally from Anderson, South Carolina. After leaving Greensboro in 2003, I moved back in August 2010 because my husband and I made this great city our permanent home.

    Parent communication is a top priority in our classrooms.  At any time throughout the year I will be available for conferences or phone conferences.  Email is also another great way to keep in touch.  Working as a team with you will help your child inside and outside the classroom.

    We are looking forward to another wonderful year at Pearce Elementary!
