My name is Carissa Zachar and I am a proud second grade teacher!  I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University.  I have been teaching for nine years and love getting to work with the amazing students at Pearce Elementary.  When I'm not teaching, I love to explore the outdoors, spend time with friends and family, and travel.  I am married to my husband, Taylor, and we have one son, William (1 year old), and a dog, Della (7 years old).  You can reach me at zacharc@gcsnc.com.
