Alyssa Harris

My name is Alyssa Harris and I am the Curriculum Facilitator at SEMS.  I have been with GCS for over 20 years and have spent the majority of my career serving schools in the Southeastern region.  As the Curriculum Facilitator I am able to work with teachers, students, and administration to support our school goals.

It is my belief that all students can be successful given consistent motivation, positive support, and solid instruction.

Some of the core competencies of my position include Professional Development in all curricular areas and GCS initiatives, Reading Framework Management and Coordination, and ongoing staff support in all subject areas.  Additional responsibilities of my position include chairing the School Improvement Team, acting as the Lead Mentor for the school, and serving as the Testing Coordinator.
