Athletic Director

Brian W. Thomas: Athletic Director and Physical Education I graduated from Western Harnett High school in 1990 and attended UNC Pembroke where I was a member of the baseball team for 3 years. After graduating from UNCP I taught in Cumberland county Schools for 2 years where I was the head wrestling coach at Westover middle school and assistant baseball coach at Westover high School. From there I spent 7 years at Lee County high School coaching everything from Assistant football, cross country, track and head wrestling. I was out of coaching for several years teaching elementary physical education before returning to the high school level and coming to Northern Guilford High School in 2010 to present. I am married and have a fantastic son Brett Thomas. This is my 8th year at Northern Guilford and my 21st year teaching in North Carolina.  Contact me at thomasb@gcsnc.com
