• Great Day and thank you for stopping by! Welcome to Whirlie Country!

I am currently coming into my third year teaching as well as working here at Whirlie Nation. I started as a teacher assistant and after three months and the retirement of a fellow teacher moved into a teaching position.

I am originally from Richmond, VA and graduated from George Wythe High School of the Arts where I played basketball, ran track and was a cheerleader. I was also Battalion Commander of the Army JROTC program.

I am a 2014 graduate of Guilford Technical Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Teaching at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with an anticipated graduation date of December 2020. I am a former assistant girl's basketball coach and a current assistant track and field coach. I have a daughter in 7th grade and enjoy spending time with her as well as watching sports, listening to music, reading and traveling.

I look forward to working with families to help in the growth and development of my students.
