Hello Everyone!

Thank you for visiting my website for Ben L. Smith. I am an 8th-year science teacher, who loves what I do. I taught A.P. Biology, Biology, Physical Science, and Chemistry, and this year I'm super excited to focus just on Biology!! My mission is to engage students in differentiated "best practices" to meet the needs of each individual student while fostering critical thinking skills to prepare the learner for college and/or a career. That's a lot to say I aim to educate students in science, and make it fun along the way!! 

Educational Background: 

I earned my B.S. in Biology and a minor in Integrated Sciences from Guilford College and earned my teaching license through GCS-ACT. After obtaining my license I obtained my M.Ed in Middle School/Secondary School Science Education from UNCG-Greensboro, and Post Master Certificate in Educational Administration from UNC-Greensboro.
