Hi, I’m Mrs. McCarter, a science teacher at Smith High School. I obtained a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) and an M.S. in Chemistry Education from North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride!).  I am a runner, a mom, a believer and an NBA 2k enthusiast. I champion edutainment, where education and entertainment are synonymous. Expect lots of energy, learning and fun in my class. Patience and kindness. Two words that I ask you to have during this school year. With this mindset, we can stay connected in this very much digital world. The most important thing to me is your safety and well-being.
