Mrs. Kim Adame
Howdy! I am the Curriculum Facilitator here at Lindley Elementary School. I graduated from Texas A & M University (WHOOP!) with a Bachelor's of Liberal Arts in 1995 and continued my education with Houston Baptist Universtiy where I obtained my Master's of Curriculum and Instruction in 2003. I have classroom teaching experience in 2nd through 5th grades as well as in teaching Academically Gifted Children. I have been fortunate in my career to work for some great principals. I have attended many brain based learning workshops to learn how students best access and retain curriculum.
My family and I moved to North Carolina from Texas in 2008. We enjoy the four seasons that North Carolina has to offer and being able to visit the mountains and beach in the same week. My husband Art and I have three children. Dominic, who is a chef at Disney. Damian who attends Appalachian State University and is a member of the Marching Mountaineers. Danica, our youngest, who is in 5th grade in GCS. When we are not traveling to watch App State football games, we are spending time with our three rescue dogs or volunteering for the pit bull rescue that we are involved in.
I look forward to working with all of our Lindley students to ensure that they have a great year and grow as much as they can academically!
