A little information about me:
I have been teaching at Grimsley High School since 2005. I’ve taught various science courses including all levels of Earth / Environmental Science, Biology, Astronomy, Zoology, IB Environmental Systems and Societies, and AP Environmental Science. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and from Mississippi State University with a Master’s Degree in Geosciences. Prior to my career at Grimsley, I have worked at a nature center in the wetlands of Southwest Florida and as a district executive and camp director for the local Boy Scout Council. During my teaching career, I've been involved with curriculum development for a research grant through NASA, and currently serving on the advisory committee for an Energy Literacy Program for teachers through UNC-Chapel Hill, and on the advisory committee for a Forestry Education Program for teachers through NC State University.
