Bio:  I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I went to the University of Michigan at the same time as the Fab Five.  I moved to Sugar Land, Texas after college to teach for 4 years, and then moved to North Carolina in 1999.  I started at Grimsley in 2001.  I have taught all levels of math, and am currently the Math Department Chair.  I have also taught World History and Civics. (I was a History major in college.)  My wife Kelli is a professional photographer - specializing in high school senior pictures. (Check out the link below!)  My two kids, Ben and Paige, attend Southwest Guilford High School.
