Mr. Jonathan Byrd

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I've been at Smith since 2010, first as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, then in the Exceptional Children (EC) Department as a Teacher Assistant and Job Coach. Since 1999 after school, I have been the Assistant Band Director. In 2012, I began advising the Men & Women of Smith. They are service organizations and which also contain dynamic male and female step teams. I attended North Carolina A&T State University and Northern Essex Community College. I have an Associates Degree in Music.
