Hello! My name is Mrs. Davenport, and I am the Speech Language Pathologist at Smith High School. I have a Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I work with students on their articulation skills (speech sound production), receptive and expressive language skills, fluency skills (stuttering), and social language (pragmatic language) skills. Students who receive speech/language services will also have access to resources on my Canvas Course. Please let me know if you have not received an invitation to this course. I am available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm for any questions, concerns, or help. I have therapy sessions scheduled throughout the day, so the easiest way to reach me is via email davenph@gcsnc.com or Canvas messages. I will return your email/message as soon as possible between sessions. You can also call the school at (336)294-7300 and ask for Mrs. Davenport, the speech therapist. I look forward to working with your student this school year!
