I am Mrs. Craven. I have taught in Guilford County for 16 years. My husband is also a teacher. He teaches 6th grade math & science at Kernodle. During sporting events or any competitions, you will see us sitting on opposite sides cheering for our schools. Of course, I love it when Northwest beats his school. For 14 years I taught in High Point. I have had the privilege of teaching both middle and high school. I have 2 grown children. I am very proud of both. They attended Guilford County Schools and graduated from Western Guilford. My son attended Yale for his undergraduate degree and Vanderbilt for his PHD. He and his wife currently live in Nashville with our new granddaughter where he works in the lab at the Vanderbilt Hospital. My daughter attended Christopher Newport University for her undergraduate degree. She is currently attending an Apprentice School in Newport News. She is a welder and works at the Newport News Shipyard building submarines & aircraft carriers. I love spending time with my family. We love to ski, play golf, hike, play games and spend summers in Maine. I also enjoy sewing & knitting. I love teaching and I love working with my students.
