My name is Jen Hurley and I am the Curriculum Facilitator at Claxton.  I have been an educator in Guilford County for 17 years.  I have worked here at Claxton for 2 years.  Previous to that, I worked at Archer ES for 12 years and at Hampton ES for 3 years.  I graduated from Appalachian State University and have a BS in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I hold a current National Board Certification in Early Childhood.  I am married to my husband of 16 years, Josh, who is also an educator.  We have two awesome children and two frisky cats.  I love to read, play games and spend time with my family.  I love being a Claxton Star and strive daily to support both the students and staff in this amazing school community.
