• Club Descriptions

    Art Club - Join us once a month to participate in mini workshops. Students will have the opportunity to experience various types of crafts and art making throughout the year. This is a great alternative for students that couldn’t fit art in their schedule this year. All are welcome!

    Battle of the Books - Quiz-bowl style competition based on a list of 15 pre-determined titles. Team limited to 12 members.

    Beautification Club - We complete projects around the campus to improve the appearance.

    DECADECA is a co-curricular organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. PH DECA students will have opportunities to earn scholarships, service learning hours, and internships. We compete in district, state, and national competitions where students have a chance to meet other DECA students across the United States. There are many leadership opportunities with DECA. Colleges and employers are looking for students with excellent leadership qualities and problem-solving skills. DECA members get a chance to showcase these skills in competitions where they can earn medals, trophies, recognition, scholarships, and more.     French Club - In French club we celebrate everything French, from music, culture, history, food, arts and cinema.

    International Club - International Club explores and highlights cultures around the world, including those of our student population. Activities include service projects and an annual Global Showcase of food, cultural displays, dance and other performances.

    Key Club - Key Club is a service learning organization focused on volunteering in our school and the greater community. We mentor students at Cone or Irving Park on Fridays, help with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), volunteer at the soup kitchen, buy Christmas gifts for children and much more.

    Medical Careers ClubStudents who are enrolled in Health Science one, Health Science 2, and Nursing Fundamentals, they participate in project base for the year depending on the facility that we doing our internship.

    Mock Trial Competition - Mock Trial is a club that provides students with a real life look in to the justice system. Students review a actual legal case and learn how this case is tried in the court system. Student are assigned different roles and actively participation in a trial competition against peers across the State.

    Mu Alpha Theta - Mu Alpha Theta, or Math club, is a service oriented club for students that have a love for mathematics. We meet monthly, participate in math competitions, and give back to the Page community through tutorial services. We try to celebrate the beauty that is mathematics.

    National Art Honor Soceity - The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recognizes high school students who demonstrate an outstanding ability and interest in art and promotes the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service by bringing art education to the attention of the school and community. Interested students must apply.

    National English Honors Society - The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of Walter Hines Page High School.

    National Honor Society - This club is open to Seniors only. Juniors will apply for admission in the spring semester of their Junior year. NHS completes service projects throughout the school, within the community, and also helps with tutoring students struggling in their classes.

    National Technical Honor Society -  National Technical Honor Society recognizes outstanding student achievement in Career and Technical Education (CTE).Serving thousands of schools and colleges across the country, we encourage educational excellence, skill development, and workforce readiness. We’re dedicated to supporting our members as they excel in their studies, make a difference in their communities, and position themselves to succeed in their chosen careers.

    Pep Club - The pep club is the promotional group that highlights student activities at Page. We meet once a week to design and create flyers and posters for sporting events, dances, fine arts activities, and all other student related activities. Anyone can join and there are no dues.

    Photography ClubDigital Photography is much more than just having a camera and taking pictures. Students in this club have opportunities to hone their skills by understanding and learning about what makes a good photograph, from composition to artistic expression. In addition, members of this club will learn how to use state of the art software to edit and enhance photographic images for their own use, as well as for publication. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to explore this exciting side of the visual arts.

    Poetic VoicesWe find, write and share poetry together.

    Psychology Club - Psychology Club is open to all students at Page High School, whether they are enrolled in Psychology or not. We look at topics in psychology that are of interest to our members and help to spread awareness about these topics. Events we have held in the past include movie nights, hosting guest speakers, morning yoga sessions, and participating in Mental Health Awareness Week activities. Members work together to decide the topics and activities that they would like to pursue each year so please join us and let us help you develop a love of psychology!

    Robotics Club - FIRST Robotics Challenge is a Nationwide competition where students design and construct a robot to compete in a regional challenge at NCA&T.

    Sailing Club - This club is a collective attempt to enjoy the great outdoors and open waters together in sailboats with the guidance of experienced sailors.

    Science Olympiad - Science Olympiad is a statewide competition in STEM activities.

    Skills USA - SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. We provide educational programs, events and competitions that support career and technical education in the nation’s classrooms.

    SLAP - Our goal is to increase service learning hours and awareness of Page Campus. We also participate in different service learning projects throughout the school year.

    Student Council Association - A Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership, and encourage student / faculty / community relations. The group of student leaders collaborate with others to impact their school community, thus improving the greater community.

    Team Voyage - Team Voyage is a non-profit organization exclusive to Page High. Our organization supports African-American males by working to increase their academic investment and social capital through a wide-range of experiences, community service, and brotherly support.

    Ultimate Frisbee - Ultimate Frisbee club is open to all students at Page High School. We meet every Friday afternoon when we are at school and play frisbee. No experience is necessary. Playing Ultimate Frisbee is a great way to have fun while getting in shape. In previous years, we have gone to competitions in the area as well as the state.
