Dear Parents and Guardians,

I would like to take the time to welcome you to the second grade. My name is Morgan Rountree and I am your child’s teacher.

I just want to take a moment to let you know a little about myself. This is my fifth year of teaching. I am looking forward to an amazing year.  I earned my Bachelors of Elementary Education with a concentration in visual arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in May of 2015. I have a dog named Khlaie and a cat named Simba. 

Second grade is a very important year. It is still setting the foundations for all the skills students will need throughout their time in school. I can't wait to see what this year brings!
