Welcome to Mrs. Mickens' 2nd Grade!  I am truly excited about working with you and your child this year!  This is my 16th year as a teacher for NC Public Schools.  I believe that every child has the ability to learn, and be successful; as well as the right to learn in a safe environment.  With a collaborative effort, we can make your child's year a great success!
