• Thanks so much for checking in with the Spanish classes at EGMS!  This is my 11th year here, and I am so excited to be working with our great Spanish students!

Our classes focus on reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the target language.

I use a combination of methods including Comprehensible Input, Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and Storytelling, and many other resources!

Required Supplies: Students will need a composition notebook and pencils.

Suggested Supplies:  Students might need colored pens, markers, scissors, or colored pencils if they prefer having their own supplies.

Homework: Although I don't assign a lot of explicit homework, students should always be reviewing the vocabulary we have in class. Students will also benefit from reading in Spanish outside of class.

If you go to www.quizlet.com and type in Somos 1 and the chapter number we are working on, you will find a current vocabulary list.

If you go to www.fluencymatters.com you can find leveled readers for your children for purchase.  I have a few that can be used during class.
